Accounts Administrator - 1 month contract ABOUT OUR CLIENT & THE ROLE

Our client is an established civil and infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across the energy, utilities, transport and industrial sectors.

Due to an immediate need within the finance team, they are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the business on an initial one-month contract.

This is a hands‑on processing role supporting a busy project environment and will suit someone who can come in, pick things up quickly and help keep the day‑to‑day accounts administration moving.

An immediate start is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing accounts payable invoices

Processing supplier and subcontractor claims

Entering and allocating invoices accurately

Processing plant and equipment charges

Checking invoices and claims against relevant documentation

Assisting with account and supplier queries





Maintaining accurate records across the finance system

Providing general accounts administration support to the wider finance team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Administrator or similar finance support role

Strong invoice processing experience

Experience within construction, civil, infrastructure or another project‑based environment would be advantageous

Exposure to subcontractor claims and/or plant charges would be highly regarded

Robust attention to detail and ability to work through a high volume of transactions

Comfortable joining a busy environment and getting up to speed quickly

Available to commence immediately and commit to the one‑month contract
