Community AOD Support Worker Yaandina Community Services, situated in Roebourne for over 40 years, is the largest provider of community services in the Pilbara. About The Role Provide high-quality, person-centred and culturally appropriate care that supports clients to maintain their health and wellbeing. This includes monitoring clients' condition and reporting any changes to management, maintain accurate and complete records, including progress notes and reporting while providing support in a safe, inclusive, and high-performing organisational culture.

Duties Include But Not Limited To

Provide support and assistance to Supervisor, AOD Specialist and clients to support recovery.

Provide administrative support where necessary

Provide direct practical support to clients so that they gain/maintain independent living skills.

Medication monitoring/ support medication administration

Maintain records and resources where applicable

Escort residents on appointments and social outings as required

About You

Ability to write reports and maintain operational records





Experience with Aboriginal communities

Understanding and respect for cultural diversity, ensuring culturally responsive care

Requirements Of The Role

Cert III in Community Services or willingness to obtain

Experience in the AOD space, preferable including remote communities

Valid National Police Clearance

Valid Working with Children's Check

Valid Driver's Licence

Hours Of Work Pending employment type (Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual) you will be required to work up to 10 shifts per fortnight. This includes varying morning, afternoon and nightshifts.

Salary And Benefits

Hourly rate is based off the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) pending qualifications and experience.
