Meredith Respiratory & Sleep Centres – Bankstown NSW Respiratory Lab Technician/Scientist, Casual, Bankstown Meredith Respiratory and Sleep Centre in Bankstown, a leading respiratory and sleep centre is in need of a Respiratory Lab Technician/Scientist. The Role includes, but is not limited to: Collection of patient medical information and history Performance of various respiratory tests including lung function, spirometry, asthma and allergy tests Accurate recording of results Prepare and monitor patients during testing Liaise with clinic Doctors and other staff Operate and maintain respiratory equipment in accordance with established guidelines Keeping up to date with improvements in procedures and changes in government requirements Assist with administrative tasks including booking of patients, monitoring supply of consumables and assisting reception with front desk duties Required:



Qualification or current enrolment in medical science or medical related degree essential Experience in conducting respiratory and related tests preferred but not essential Must be sufficiently confident to be able to work alone Enjoy dealing with the general public Willingness to work at other locations if required Willingness to assist with administration and front desk functions Remuneration: 16 - 32 Hours per week, Monday to Fridays. On the job training provided Availability of experienced IT personnel, administration assistants, practice manager and experienced medical specialists Up to date medical equipment and software Modern, clean work setting close to shops and railway station
