Key responsibilities
Assist with food preparation and service while maintaining high quality standards
Prepare and cook menu items under the guidance of senior chefs
Assist in the delivery of food service across our à la carte restaurant, buffet operations and functions.
Ensure food presentation and consistency meet venue standards
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory management
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
About you
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred
Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or currently undertaking studies are advantageous
Strong passion for food and hospitality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining high standards
