Robertson Health Centre
is located within Robertson Barracks in Holtze, approximately 15 km east of Darwin. The facility supports approximately 2,800 Defence personnel, along with a significant Reserve component. The Barracks also host an additional 2,500 US Marines on a rotational basis from May to September each year. The Health Centre provides comprehensive services including primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health care, and operates a 22-bed,
24/7 inpatient ward. Standard operating hours are 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
What You’ll Do
Provide oral hygiene treatments and preventive dental care to patients (defence members)
Deliver tailored oral health education and advice to support wellbeing
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Support infection control, sterilisation, and hygiene protocols
Collaborate with dental and multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure care
Ensure compliance with Defence policies and clinical standards
What You Bring
current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Therapist
minimum 2 years’ recent clinical experience in dental hygiene
ability to work both independently and within a supportive team
strong communication skills with a caring, patient-focused approach
commitment to maintaining high clinical and ethical standardsAustralian Citizenship a must to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
