About the Role As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing incoming patient enquiries and telephone calls
Booking appointments and surgical procedures
Diary management for specialists
Coordinating theatre lists
Processing invoices, receipting and patient payments
Monitoring upcoming appointments to ensure payments and documentation are completed correctly
Providing exceptional customer service to patients, specialists and colleagues
General administrative support to the clinical team
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous medical reception or specialist practice experience
Experience using medical software
Strong computer skills and confidence learning new technology
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
A caring, positive and professional attitude
The ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team
