Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Sea Star Bakery to our valued clients, making this a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service and product excellence.

Key responsibilities

Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies

Collect and deliver bakery products to customers on designated routes within agreed timeframes

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, customer signatures and any damages or discrepancies

Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, including fuel, oil and tyre pressure, and report any mechanical issues promptly

Handle bakery products with care to ensure they arrive in optimal condition

Communicate professionally with customers, addressing queries and gathering feedback

Manage delivery documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately

Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-organised at all times

Assist with loading products onto the delivery vehicle at the start of each shift

What we're looking for

A valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transport role

Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation skills, with the ability to plan efficient routes





Excellent time management and reliability; punctuality is essential

Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry goods safely throughout the day

Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach

The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform routine vehicle checks

A commitment to safe driving practices and compliance with all relevant regulations
