As a Gaming Attendant, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, enjoyable and responsible gaming experience for our guests. Working as part of our friendly venue team, you'll provide attentive customer service, maintain a clean and inviting gaming environment, and ensure all gaming activities are conducted in accordance with Queensland legislation and responsible gambling requirements. This is a hands‑on customer service role suited to someone who enjoys engaging with people, takes pride in providing exceptional service and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional and attentive service to patrons within the gaming area

Assist patrons with gaming machine enquiries and provide general information regarding gaming facilities and services

Conduct gaming payouts and gaming‑related transactions accurately and in accordance with venue procedures and regulatory requirements

Monitor the gaming floor and respond promptly to patron requests and service requirements

Promote and adhere to responsible gambling practices, including recognising and appropriately responding to indicators of gambling harm

Maintain an awareness of self‑exclusion requirements and elevate responsible gambling matters in accordance with venue procedures

Ensure gaming machines, surrounding areas and customer facilities are clean, tidy and well presented

Accurately handle cash and complete required reconciliations, documentation and gaming records





Report gaming machine faults or maintenance requirements to the appropriate team member or service provider

Assist with beverage service and other general venue duties as required

About you

QLD RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling)

QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

Previous experience in gaming, hospitality or customer service is highly regarded

A friendly, approachable and professional manner with a genuine passion for customer service

Robust communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patrons and team members

A good understanding of responsible gambling practices and the importance of maintaining a safe and compliant gaming environment

Ability to remain calm, professional and discreet when handling customer enquiries or sensitive situations

Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling cash, gaming payouts and gaming‑related transactions

Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Confidence using point‑of‑sale, gaming and other venue operating systems
