Are you looking to start a rewarding career in landscaping and learn a broad range of practical trade skills while working on some of Melbourne’s most prestigious residential properties?

Due to continued growth, Gardens By Fields is seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Landscaper to join our skilled and friendly team, working across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

Concreting

Paving and stonework

Retaining walls

Drainage and plumbing

Landscape lighting and electrical components

Timber construction and carpentry

Decking, screening and structural garden elements

Planting and softscape finishes

You’ll develop a broad and valuable skill set while learning from experienced tradespeople. Skilled landscapers are highly sought after, and at Gardens By Fields we aim to invest in and retain the best people long-term.

The Opportunity As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced site managers and qualified landscapers on premium residential projects.



You will be exposed to all aspects of landscape construction and be supported to grow your skills through practical on-site training and formal apprenticeship studies.

You will be part of a team delivering exceptional outdoor spaces for designer homes across Melbourne’s eastern, south eastern suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula.

About You To be considered, you will ideally have:

A genuine interest in landscape construction and outdoor work

Physical fitness and a strong work ethic

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Australian citizenship or permanent working rights with no restrictions

A current Australian driver’s licence

Regular access to a reliable vehicle

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Outstanding attention to detail

Experience in landscaping, construction, or another trade (highly regarded but not essential)
