Catercare is seeking a skilled chef who specialises in cakes, pastries and sweets in an Aged Care setting

Job Description

Ensuring high quality meals are ready for the community

Understands diabetic-friendly, low-sugar, texture-modified, and allergen-specific baking requirements.

Manage the kitchen production with total efficiency and speed

Maintain elite food safety and hygiene standards

Provide warm and professional service to residents and staff

Assist with prep to set the kitchen up for the week ahead

Desired Skills and Experience

Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)

Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management

Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
