Thisopportunityisdesignedforelectricianswhocandemonstratereal-worldexperienceinelectricaldiagnostics,faultfindingandindustrialmaintenance.Youwillworkacrossarangeofindustrialsites,developingspecialistknowledgeofoverheadcranes,hoists,gantriesandassociatedcontrolsystems.

Trainingisprovidedforelectricianstransitioningfromotherindustrialsectors,makingthisastrongopportunitytobuildonexistingelectricalexpertisewhiledevelopingaspecialisedskillset.

The Prospect Putyourindustrialelectricalexperiencetoworkinaspecialisedfield-serviceenvironmentsupportingcriticalliftingandmaterial-handlingequipment.

Thisopportunityisdesignedforelectricianswhocandemonstratereal-worldexperienceinelectricaldiagnostics,faultfindingandindustrialmaintenance.Youwillworkacrossarangeofindustrialsites,developingspecialistknowledgeofoverheadcranes,hoists,gantriesandassociatedcontrolsystems.

Trainingisprovidedforelectricianstransitioningfromotherindustrialsectors,makingthisastrongopportunitytobuildonexistingelectricalexpertisewhiledevelopingaspecialisedskillset.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnoseandresolveelectricalfaultsacrossindustrialliftingequipment

Carryoutplannedpreventativemaintenanceandroutineelectricalinspections

Attendequipmentbreakdownsandcompleteurgentelectricalrepairs

Serviceoverheadcranes,gantries,hoistsandrelatedindustrialsystems

Testandcommissionelectricalandcontrolsystems

TroubleshootPLCs,motors,contactors,VSDs,limitswitchesandcontrolcircuits





Identifyrecurringfaultsandapplypracticaldiagnosticsolutions

Maintainaccurateservicerecords,reportsandmaintenancedocumentation

Workdirectlyatcustomerindustrialsiteswithahighleveloffieldautonomy

Traveltoregionalandoccasionalinterstatelocationswhenrequired

Participateintherotatingon-callroster

Workapproximately50-55hoursperweekwhererequired,includingguaranteedovertime

Requirements & Eligibility

CertIIIinElectrotechnologyorequivalentrecognisedqualification

CurrentElectricalLicenceorProvisionalElectricalLicence

Demonstratedexperienceinindustrialelectricalwork

PracticalPLCfault-findinganddiagnosticexperience

Strongunderstandingofindustrialelectricalsystemsandcontrols

Abilitytoindependentlydiagnosefaultsandcompleterepairs

Strongmechanicalawarenessandwillingnesstolearnspecialisedliftingequipmentsystems

Abilitytoworksafelyacrossindustrialenvironments

Willingnesstoundertakeregionaltravelasrequired
