About The Position As a Junior School Teacher at St Hilda's School, you will create an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes academic achievement, curiosity, and personal growth among students in middle and upper Primary. This role involves developing and delivering curriculum-aligned instruction in accordance with the Australian Curriculum, using data-informed practices to monitor and assess student progress, and providing differentiated learning experiences that meet each student’s individual needs. You will foster positive relationships with students and their families, and support the academic, social, and personal development of every child in your care.

Teaching Excellence

Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that meets diverse learning needs

Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and evidence-based teaching practices

Proven track record of achieving excellent academic outcomes





Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing innovative unit and lesson plans aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

Understanding of Girls' Education

Deep understanding of how girls learn and develop across different age groups

Ability to nurture confidence, resilience, and emerging leadership in girls during their formative yearsKnowledge of research-based approaches to girls' education and empowerment

Commitment to broadening girls' aspirations from an early age.

Professional Skills

Excellent classroom management and organisational abilities

Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning platforms

High level of ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
