About the role Lower Plenty Garden Views is looking for a chef who can make a difference to the lives of our residents.

You will be passionate about aged care and supportive of your team of dedicated catering staff.

Working with 90 beds in Lower Plenty, this position will be full time ongoing.

Your main duties will include:

Oversight Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm managing the day to day operations of a busy Aged Care Kitchen.

Cooking to a set menu

IDDSI and allergen awareness essential

resident and relative meetings, budget tracking and food ordering via computerised systems.

About you

Cert 4 in cooking minimum

Aged Care experience preferred

Knowledge of computers and Leecare system (desirable)

Robust positive leadership
