About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing civil construction team on a permanent basis, delivering a diverse portfolio of earthworks, site preparation, and infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. This is an chance for a hands‑on leader who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships onsite, and driving projects through from planning to completion. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. With a strong pipeline of work supporting Queensland's ongoing infrastructure growth, this position offers long‑term stability, project variety, and genuine career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle delivery of civil construction projects from mobilisation through to completion

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reporting

Coordinate plant, labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and project resources

Administer contracts, including RFIs, variations, claims, and client correspondence

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and principal contractors

Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, environmental requirements, and company procedures

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety, quality,



and project performance

Lead, mentor, and support supervisors, operators, and site personnel

Identify and manage project risks, delays, and change events

Assist with tender reviews, site assessments, and business development opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Minimum 7 years' experience managing civil construction projects within Australia

Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred)

Proven experience delivering earthworks, site preparation, or infrastructure projects valued at $1M+

Strong knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and environmental compliance requirements

Experience administering contracts including AS2124, AS4000, or similar frameworks

Exposure to demolition, remediation, or asbestos-related projects will be highly regarded

Proficiency with project management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, Aconex, or MS Project

Current Construction White Card

Current Queensland Driver's Licence
