Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 plus Superannuation

Hours: 38 hours peer week

Our Melbourne team is expanding following the successful acquisition of several new client projects across eCommerce, enterprise web applications, digital transformation, and cloud-based software development. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing development team.

About the Role As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain modern web applications and eCommerce platforms for Australian and international clients.



You will work closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, digital marketing specialists and clients to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and maintain full-stack web applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks.

Develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.

Build responsive frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.

Develop and customise Shopify themes, Shopify applications and Shopify Plus solutions.

Develop Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions and Admin UI Extensions.

Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Integrate third-party services including payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM systems and marketing platforms.

Develop cloud-based applications and participate in CI/CD deployment processes.

Troubleshoot, debug and optimise software applications.

Work collaboratively with UI/UX designers to implement responsive user interfaces.

Prepare technical documentation, release notes and deployment documentation.

Participate in Agile software development, sprint planning and code reviews.

Ensure software quality, security,



scalability and best development practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum five years of commercial software development experience.

Strong experience with:

TypeScript

JavaScript (ES6+)

Node.js

NestJS

React.js

Next.js

Experience developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills Experience with one or more of the following technologies will be highly regarded:
