Account Executive - Accounting & Advisory Software

$150,000–$160,000 base | $300,000 - 320,000 OTE + super

Hybrid - 3 days in the Sydney CBD offices every week | 2 days WFH

We're working with a well established global software vendor that is looking to hire an experienced

Account Executive

in Sydney, to help build and grow its presence within the Australian accounting and advisory market.

This is a genuine business building chance where you will own the business plan and all opportunities in the market. You’ll be joining a highly regarded software business with a well established customer base, strong reference sites and an excellent reputation in the market - but with significant scope to further develop this particular segment.

The role will focus on winning new customers and building relationships with larger, multi-site

accounting, advisory and professional services firms

across Australia. You’ll be responsible for developing new opportunities from the ground up, while leveraging the company’s existing customers, reference sites,



brand reputation and broader partner ecosystem to accelerate growth.

What we're looking for:

5+ years’ experience selling accounting, ERP or financial management software

A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets

Experience selling into

multi-site accounting, advisory or professional services organisations

Relationships and experience working with larger tier 2 and tier 3 accounting practices and firms

Strong new business development skills and the ability to build a territory rather than simply inherit an established book of accounts

Experience managing complex sales involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makersThe ability to engage credibly with senior finance, accounting and practice leadership stakeholders

Previous experience working as an

accountant , or holding a

CPA/CA or similar accounting qualification , would be a significant advantage, although it isn't essential.
