Bayswater North, VIC , you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchen operations. This role is integral to delivering outstanding dining experiences to our members and guests.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and culinary standards

Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety and presentation at all times

Managing food preparation stations and ensuring efficient workflow during service periods

Assisting with menu development and suggesting innovative dishes and ideas

Monitoring stock levels and reporting on ingredient requirements to management

Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff where applicable

Following all food safety protocols and maintaining compliance with health regulations

Collaborating with the kitchen team to meet service demands and deliver consistent quality

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment and workstations

What we're looking for

Current relevant culinary qualification or formal training in cooking

Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards





Excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines during service

Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistently high-quality dishes

Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing menu requirements and service styles

Current Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one

Reliable, punctual and skilled approach to work
