About the Role As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of heavy earthmoving equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.





Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out machine maintenance, including component replacements, overhauls and general repairs

Performing fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance servicing

Completing daily refuelling and equipment inspections

Undertaking planned repairs within required timeframes and cost expectations

Following procedure-based preventative maintenance systems

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing practical solutions

Working effectively both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team

About You

A relevant trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic or LV Fitter/Mechanic

Post-trade experience within the mining industry

Demonstrated experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment in a workshop environment

Current Queensland Driver Licence

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

A solid work ethic and commitment to safe work practices

The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
