ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an experienced
Network Engineer
to join our client's IT operations team. In this critical operational role, you will act as the backbone of their daily infrastructure, ensuring seamless, secure, and uninterrupted connectivity across the enterprise. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Drive the delivery of core BAU network operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across the client's enterprise network.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve daily technical support tickets, acting swiftly to minimize user impact and network downtime.
Execute and oversee routine network change management requests in a secure, compliant, and highly controlled manner.
Perform continuous monitoring and daily health checks on network infrastructure to proactively identify and mitigate potential operational bottlenecks.
Administer and optimize both wired and wireless network deployments to support a seamless user experience.
MORE ABOUT YOU
Proven hands-on expertise with
Fortinet security appliances , specifically involving the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of
FortiGate firewalls .
Extensive, practical experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade
Cisco routing and switching architectures .
Demonstrated capability in configuring and managing network access control utilizing
Cisco ISE .
Strong background in overseeing large-scale wireless environments, with specific proficiency managing
Cisco 9800 series Wireless LAN Controllers .
Solid practical experience in the deployment and administration of
Aruba wireless networking solutions .
A foundational understanding of
SD-WAN concepts , with introductory knowledge or
hands-on exposure to VMware VeloCloud
highly regarded.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong customer-service mindset and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced operational capacity.
