About the Role
Got freight or logistics finance experience and looking for your next gig in Sydney? A fast-growing supply chain and logistics business in Southern Sydney is seeking an experienced AR & Billings Specialist to manage high-volume invoicing and keep cash flow moving. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement (work from home up to 2 days a week) while working alongside a collaborative supply chain team.
Key Responsibilities
Processing high-volume freight billing, consignment notes, and customs/duties charges Reconciling transport accounts, pods (proof of delivery),
and fuel surcharges Following up on outstanding accounts with commercial freight and trade clients Investigating and resolving complex billing disputes and rate discrepancies Assisting the finance manager with weekly cash collection reports and end-of-month reconciliations
What We're Looking For
Experience:
2+ years in AR/Billings, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transport Systems:
Familiarity with logistics ERPs (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, Xero, or Oracle) and intermediate/advanced Excel Communication:
Clear verbal and written English to liaise with drivers, depot managers, and corporate accounts Visa:
Full working rights in Australia (WHV holders with relevant overseas logistics/finance background are encouraged to apply) Availability:
