Our Federal Government client, is looking for a Multiple Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer for a contract role with an initial 12-month engagement and a likely further extensions. They are looking for someone,

preferably based in Canberra, ACT in a hybrid capacity but will also consider, for a suitable candidate, someone from an Australian capital city, also working in a hybrid capacity from their state-based office. For this latter engagement ad-hoc travel will be required to Canberra from time to time.

MANDATORY, all candidates must be an Australian citizen and hold a current Baseline clearance OR be able to obtain Baseline clearance,

All candidates must have the skills and experience listed below, and

Have at least 5 year's relevant local working experience in the field.

Cloud experience: Demonstrated experience in cloud-based solution implementation with technologies including:

Azure DevOps for code development, management, repositories, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD deployments

Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights

Integrating cloud-based systems with third-party systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

Azure networking, security and identity management capabilities including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and Role Based Access Control

Cultural fit:

Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams

Ability to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.

Ability to collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony

Agile

Experience working with Agile Multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure,



user friendly and reliable solutions that meet stakeholder, citizen, and business expectations.

Ability to pragmatically change direction and scope as recent information is discovered and challenges or opportunities present themselves

Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience 5yrs+ implementing and managing cloud systems and technologies.

The Cloud Architect/Engineer will:

Liaise with cross-functional teams to develop and manage enterprise and application-level architectures for MS-Azure.

Provide impact analysis and technical guidance in design and development of project work aligned with WoG Standards

Demonstrated track record of technical leadership across project and operational tasks

Demonstrated experience and understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures

Demonstrated experience in application and integration, or infrastructure platform architecture.

Minimum 3 years' experience designing and documenting architectures for large, complex enterprise systems. Experience with AWS and/or GCP is desirable but not essential.
