Job Details The ADF is seeking a Safety System Engineer to lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V; and certification. The role will ensure safety obligations, evidence and traceability remain aligned with the program while maintaining compliance with Defence regulatory and statutory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V; and certification, ensuring safety obligations, evidence and traceability remain aligned with the program.
Coordinate safety analysis, hazard controls,
assurance activities and specialist inputs to maintain compliance with Defence regulatory and statutory requirements.
Provide senior judgment to integrate system safety implications into schedule, design decisions, and Governance Artefacts.
System safety program documentation, hazard analysis and assurance evidence.
Certification artefacts, V&V; alignment and technical review outputs.
Safety decision records and governance read briefings.
