Our client is a leading provider of industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment systems across Australia NZ and the Pacific Islands.

They provide treatment plants and technology to municipal and industrial end users in the F&B;, mining, municipal, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors across Australia.

Position summary We are seeking a

Project Engineer (Wastewater Treatment)

to join the companies growing team based in either Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

With full support from an experienced national team, the Project Engineer is responsible for the delivery of multiple water and wastewater treatment projects.

You will get the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors including water utilities, industrial, infrastructure and F&B.;

This role would ideally suit someone with 1-5 years project delivery experience. Water treatment experience is beneficial but not essential.

Specific responsibilities

Manage multiple water & wastewater treatment projects concurrently





Manage resources including internal personnel and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and on budget

Detailed documentation, including manuals, equipment lists, process and mechanical design drawings, layouts, functional descriptions

Project planning and managing schedules, milestones and deliverables. report on progress against these to stakeholders and management.

Oversee the development of project quality and safety documentation, including FAT’s, ITP’s, management plans, SWMS and other commissioning activities

Operation, problems solving and optimization of WTP’s

Financial control over projects including monthly reporting to senior management across all projects
