About the role We are seeking a Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) Technician to join our Brisbane Region team on a full time or part time basis.
The team in Brisbane work on a rotating roster at various practices and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team.
About you
Essential:
A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Health Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, or equivalent),
or
Current Enrolled Nurse (EN) registration.
Highly Desirable:
Current DXA (Bone Mineral Densitometry) licence and experience performing BMD examinations.
Current Qld Radiation Use Licence or ability to apply

Ability to support and educate patients and staff within the Unit to ensure quality evidence-based care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to deliver a high level of patient care and customer service
Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Demonstrated composure under pressure prioritising a commitment to service excellence
