Lytton, QLD . This role is ideal for a skilled operator with experience handling
steel products , operating
heavy forklifts , and using a range of
forklift attachments .
You will be responsible for safely moving and storing steel products, unloading deliveries, and working within a rapid-paced warehouse environment with
tight aisles . Overtime is available and may be required to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy forklifts safely and efficiently.
Handle, unpack, and transport steel products.
Load and unload trucks using the appropriate forklift attachments.
Operate forklifts fitted with various attachments for different load types.
Use RF scanners for inventory control and stock movements.
Accurately move and store stock within the warehouse.
Navigate tight warehouse aisles safely and efficiently.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Work overtime when required.
Essential Requirements
Current
LF Forklift Licence .
Minimum 3 years of forklift operating experience .
Previous
steel unpack or steel handling experience
is essential.
Experience operating
heavy forklifts .
Proven experience using
various forklift attachments .
Experience using
RF scanning systems .
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
