Our busy bakery and pastry kitchen in Oakleigh operates 7 days a week from 5.45am – 4pm. On the job training will be provided, however we are searching for staff who have a minimum of 2 years experience in pastry, bakery and food handling procedures.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and baking bread loaves, rolls and specialty bread products

Measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes

Kneading, shaping and proofing dough

Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times

Ensuring consistency and quality of bakery products

Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

Operating and maintaining bakery equipment

Managing stock levels and ordering ingredients when required

Collaborate with the team to meet high-volume demands without compromising quality





Work in all areas of the kitchen from producing, finishing and storage of baked products

About you

Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 year of pastry / bakery experience requiredAt least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Baker

Knowledge of bakery production processes and food safety requirements

Strong attention to detail and quality

Be honest, reliable and punctual with a valuable work ethic

Be able to follow instructions

Be adaptable for flexible working hours across the week

Must be a team player

Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
