This opportunity is based in Melbourne's Inner West.

About the Role This is a consistent, ongoing full-time casual position with a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent role within 6 to 12 months.

Shifts can vary, so flexibility is essential.

This is not solely a driving role. We are seeking motivated all-rounders who are happy to get out of the truck, work hands‑on in the field, and assist with a range of industrial and environmental services.

As an HR Driver / Labourer, you will operate vacuum tankers and liquid waste vehicles while supporting industrial cleaning, non‑destructive digging (NDD), and site service operations across a variety of customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Operating vacuum tankers and liquid waste vehicles





Collecting and transporting liquid waste to approved treatment and recycling facilities

Performing drain and pit cleaning using vacuum extraction equipment

Conducting high‑pressure water jetting and industrial cleaning activities

Assisting with non‑destructive digging (NDD) operations

Supporting industrial cleaning and site service projects

Completing work safely and efficiently to meet customer expectations

Carrying out daily pre‑start checks, maintenance, and safety inspections

Complying with all WHS, environmental, and operational procedures

Current HR Driver's Licence

Demonstrated

NDD (Non-Destructive Digging) experience (desirable)

Experience within the water industry, particularly in the construction and rehabilitation of water and sewer networks

Solid commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel to different sites as required
