Smart Start Interlocks is seeking a full time Collections Officer to join our team in Heidelberg West. As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for contacting customers, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding interlocks. What you'll be doing

Proactively reach out to customers with overdue accounts Negotiate and collect payment arrangements Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and payment plans Engage our network & 3rd parties to remove interlocks Provide regular reports on the status of outstanding accounts and collection efforts Maintain a professional and empathetic approach when dealing with customers Contribute to the continuous improvement of the collections function What we're looking for





Experience in a collections role preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail Resilient and persistent, with the ability to work under pressure Commitment to providing exceptional customer service What we offer
