Key Responsibilities

Carryoutabrasiveblastingandsurfacepreparationtospecifiedstandards

Prepareindustrialsurfacesbeforeprotectivecoatingapplication

Applyepoxy,urethaneandotherindustrialprotectivecoatingsystems

Operateblastpots,compressors,sprayequipmentandrelatedtools

Monitorcoatingapplicationtoensureconsistentfinishandquality

Inspectpreparedsurfacesandcompletedcoatings

Clean,maintainandsafelyoperateblastingandpaintingequipment

Completeassignedprojectsefficientlyandwithinrequiredtimeframes

WorksafelyinaccordancewithworkplaceproceduresandAustralianStandards

Identifyandreportequipment,safetyorqualityissues

Maintainacleanandorganisedworkarea

Workeffectivelywithsupervisors,tradespeopleandotherteammembers

Workoccasionalnightsandweekendswhenrequired,withpenaltyratesapplicable





Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum2yearsofpracticalabrasiveblastingexperience

Demonstratedexperienceinindustrialblastingandprotectivecoatings

Previousexperienceapplyingindustrialpaintandcoatingsystems

Soundknowledgeofsurfacepreparationmethodsandcoatingtechniques

Strongcommitmenttoworkplacehealthandsafety

Excellentattentiontodetailandqualityworkmanship

Physicallycapableofperformingdemandingindustrialwork

Reliable,hardworkingandabletomeetprojectdeadlines

Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateam

CertificateIIIinSurfacePreparationandCoatingApplicationishighlyregarded
