We are looking for an experienced, passionate and highly capable Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our established long day care service in regional NSW. This is an prospect for the right person to become an important part of our team and help us continue to build a service where quality practice, positive relationships and professional accountability genuinely matter.

Key responsibilities

Work confidently and capably, both independently and collaboratively with other educators

Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through observation, planning, documentation and intentional teaching

Apply knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and contemporary early childhood education and care practice

Support and mentor other educators

Manage challenging behaviours with calm, consistency and capability, identifying triggers and developing practical strategies aligned with service policies and procedures

Work collaboratively to develop and implement consistent behaviour strategies across the team

Communicate professionally with colleagues, providing constructive feedback and addressing issues respectfully

Take ownership of problems and contribute solutions rather than escalating to management

Maintain reliability, organisation and accountability in your work





Contribute to creating an environment where challenging behaviour is approached professionally

About you

Experienced in Australian early childhood education and care

Knowledgeable about the EYLF, NQF and contemporary ECEC practice

Strong in observation, planning, documentation and intentional teaching

Confident supporting and mentoring other educators

Calm, consistent and capable when managing challenging behaviours

Able to identify triggers, consider the child's individual needs and develop practical strategies

Comfortable having professional conversations and providing constructive feedback

A problem solver who takes ownership

Reliable, organised and accountable

Positive and solutions-focused
