About The Role As an Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and productive operation of poly pipe extrusion lines, ensuring products are manufactured to specification while meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate and monitor poly pipe extrusion machinery
Maintain consistent product quality and dimensional accuracy
Conduct regular quality inspections and testing
Troubleshoot process and machine issues to minimise downtime
Complete machine start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers
Accurately record production and quality data
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality standards
Assist with routine maintenance and housekeeping activities
Work collaboratively within a team-focused manufacturing environment
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience machine operating
Experience in polyethylene (PE) or HDPE pipe manufacturing highly regarded
Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Forklift licence preferred
Ability to work shift work if required
