Transport Administrator – Altona North Permanent Full-Time

Experienced Transport Administrator Wanted We are currently seeking a highly experienced Transport Administrator to join an established and busy transport operation based in Altona North.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administration professional who understands the transport industry and is confident managing billing, invoicing and transport documentation from start to finish.

We are looking for someone who is mature, reliable and experienced, with a strong understanding of the demands of a fast-paced transport environment.

About the Role Working closely with the transport and operations teams, you will be responsible for a range of administrative and billing functions, including:

Processing and checking driver run sheets and delivery paperwork

Ensuring transport documentation is accurate and complete

Preparing and processing client billing and invoicing

Checking rates, charges and supporting documentation

Managing client account and billing queries

Liaising with drivers, transport operations, warehouse staff and clients

Data entry and maintaining accurate transport records

Identifying and resolving discrepancies in paperwork and billing

General transport administration and operational support

About You To be successful in this role,



you will have:

Solid experience in transport administration

Proven transport industry billing/invoicing experience – essential

Experience within wharf, general freight, refrigerated or similar transport operations

Robust attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong computer skills and use of containerchain is ideal

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

A professional, reliable and mature approach to your work

The confidence to communicate with drivers, clients and internal teams

What’s On Offer

$75,000–$80,000 + Super, depending on experience

Permanent full-time position

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm

Established transport operation based in Altona North
