We're growing and looking for our next Consultant! Established in Melbourne in 2012, CVinternational is a leading talent acquisition partner to the retail and direct-to-consumer sectors. With offices in Cremorne, London and Bangkok, we work across the full spectrum of retail functions; from shop floor and store operations through to head office, including Buying, Merchandise Planning, HR, Finance, Marketing, Design, Digital and E-commerce.

We’re looking for an ambitious, personable and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our established team.

If you’re already working in retail or FMCG and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the opportunity for you. Perhaps you’re a Store Manager looking to step off the floor, a Marketing or Sales Manager ready for a career change, or a recent graduate who is naturally curious, loves talking to people and is excited by the idea of building a career in recruitment.

Recruitment experience isn’t essential but industry experience, personality and drive are.

This is an autonomous, 360-degree recruitment role where you’ll have the opportunity to build and manage your own desk, develop strong client relationships and become a trusted talent partner within the retail and FMCG sectors.

You’ll be responsible for:

Developing new business and building long-term client relationships

Identifying, attracting and managing high-quality industry talent

Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through to placement

Networking and building your personal profile within the industry

Leveraging our extensive global candidate network and established database

Building genuine, long-term relationships with both candidates and clients





We’re a highly collaborative team, but this is a role where personal drive, initiative and determination really matter. You’ll have the support, tools and expertise around you to succeed, but we’re looking for someone who is a natural self-starter; resourceful, resilient and motivated to make things happen.

Ideally, you’ll have:

Experience within retail and/ or FMCG

A strong understanding of working to targets and KPIs

Excellent influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills

Exceptional verbal communication skills

A genuine love of meeting and talking to people,you’ll spend a lot of time on the phone, meeting candidates and clients face-to-face and connecting via video

A positive, outgoing personality

The confidence and initiative to work autonomously

A strong work ethic and the determination to achieve results

You’ll join a small but highly experienced team of specialist recruiters who genuinely l love retail and the fast-paced, sometimes crazy world that comes with it.
