MuraConnect is partnering with a leading Government organisation to identify an experienced Learning Specialist to support a significant ICT transformation project as it moves into its delivery stage. This is a 12-month contract opportunity, with potential extensions.
You’ll take the lead in designing and delivering engaging learning solutions that support capability uplift and successful adoption of a new enterprise system. This is a hands‑on role combining instructional design, digital learning, facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
The Role As the Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high‑quality learning solutions across a major transformation program, including:
Developing interactive learning resources, activities, gamification and knowledge checks
Applying instructional design and adult learning principles to maximise capability uplift
Facilitating training sessions, practice labs and drop‑in sessions
Evaluating and refining learning content based on feedback and evolving needs
Tracking learner progress, completion and performance metrics
Collaborating with SMEs and technical teams to identify learning needs and skills gaps
Supporting stakeholder engagement, communications and business readiness activities
About You To be successful,
you will be an accomplished Learning Specialist with extensive experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions within complex transformation or ICT environments.
You will bring:
Minimum 7 years’ experience working in a similar capacity
Strong experience in instructional design, curriculum development and training delivery
Experience developing digital learning using Articulate and online learning tools
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models
Previous experience working within an ICT program or project environment
Excellent facilitation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to translate technical information for non‑technical audiences
Strong project management, organisation and written communication skills
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SharePoint Online
Tertiary qualifications in instructional design, education, change management or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or within a highly regulated setting will also be highly regarded.
