Ipswich based business is looking for an experienced
Production Manager
to join our smash repair workshop in Ipswich. We are looking for someone who understands the smash repair industry, can lead a team and keep vehicles moving efficiently through the repair process. About the Role
You will oversee the day‑to‑day production of the workshop, including: Planning and managing daily workflow Allocating work to workshop staff Monitoring vehicles throughout the repair process Keeping jobs moving through panel, paint, assembly and detailing Identifying and resolving delays or bottlenecks Coordinating with the office and parts team Maintaining quality and ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard Managing workshop staff, productivity and priorities Keeping the workshop organised and running efficiently Communicating job progress and expected completion dates with the office team About You
Ideally, you will:
Have experience in the smash repair/collision repair industry Understand the repair process from start to finish Have previous production management, workshop management or foreman experience Be organised and able to manage multiple jobs and priorities Be confident leading and managing a team Have strong attention to quality and workmanship Be proactive and able to solve problems as they arise Communicate well with both workshop and office staff Experience with
iBodyshop, Audanet or PartsCheck
would be an advantage but isn't essential. About Us
