Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic Forrestdale | Local, Stable Role with Great Work-Life Balance We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic to join our team at our modern South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located near Tonkin Highway.

Your Day-to-Day In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our fleet running safely and reliably, working on a variety of heavy vehicles and plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

Completing inspections and safety checks

What makes you a great fit?

Trade qualification (AQF3) in Heavy Duty Mechanics, Auto Electrics, or Mechanical Fitting

Solid experience working with heavy vehicles or plant equipment

Confidence in diagnostics, hydraulics, and low-voltage electrical systems

A team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic

Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence (essential)

HR Licence

EWP, Dogging, or Forklift tickets
