About the Role This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic and engaging educator with experience teaching

Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS)

across the secondary years. The successful applicant will inspire curiosity, critical thinking and a genuine passion for learning while contributing to a collaborative and student-focused school culture.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging HASS lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement.

Using assessment data to inform teaching practice and maximise student outcomes.

Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives.





Actively participating in the wider school community and supporting students beyond the classroom.

About You The successful applicant will:

Be a passionate and innovative secondary HASS educator.

Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong curriculum knowledge.

Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.

Be committed to differentiated teaching practices and student-centred learning.

Thrive within a collaborative and inclusive school environment.

Requirements

Relevant teaching qualification.

Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.

Full Australian working rights.
