Job Responsibilities

Act as an extension of clients’ in-house legal teams Provide high-quality, responsive and practical commercial legal advice Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, services, sponsorship and licensing agreements Advise on general commercial matters, corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues Advise on Australian Consumer Law and Privacy Law Manage multiple client matters simultaneously across different business cultures and working styles Build relationships with in-house counsel and key business stakeholders Support supervision, training and development of junior lawyers and graduates Participate in business development initiatives, including client events, webinars, sales meetings and conferences Requirements

Admitted to practise on an unrestricted basis in Australia At least 4 years’ post qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house Strong technical expertise in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements Experience advising on general commercial and regulatory matters across diverse industries Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with highly sophisticated clients Practical,



solutions-focused mindset with robust commercial acumen Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team Interest in mentoring and supporting the development of junior lawyers and graduates Current Australian Legal Practising Certificate Full work rights in Australia Core Competencies
