Somerton branch , we are looking for a driven and customer-focused

Construction Equipment Sales Representative

to join our Victorian sales team. In this role, your key focus will be to promote the sales of the Hitachi Construction Equipment range across

Melbourne's Western Metro region , while developing solid relationships with both existing and prospective customers.

Reporting to the Victorian Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing and growing relationships within an established customer network across the Melbourne West territory

Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling and customer visits

Promoting the full range of Hitachi construction equipment and solutions

Conducting product demonstrations and providing equipment recommendations tailored to customer requirements

Participating in industry events, field days, trade shows and networking activities

Maintaining accurate reporting of current and prospective opportunities, market activity and competitor analysis through CRM systems

Achieving market share objectives and sales targets set by Management

Building long-term partnerships by delivering exceptional customer service and support

About You To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

Proven sales experience within the construction, earthmoving, heavy equipment, transport, agricultural machinery or related industries

A genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships





A motivated and competitive drive to not only meet but exceed sales targets

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities

Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including proficiency in CRM systems

Confident, courteous and professional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a wider team

A current driver's licence
