Job Description About The Role

Are you a seasoned Developer who enjoys both the strategy of leadership and staying close to the code? At

Lite n’ Easy , we are looking for a

Software Development Team Lead

to join our Brisbane-based ICT team. This is a high-impact,

"brownfield"

environment where you will head a team of 5 in-house developers dedicated to

continuous improvement . This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys mentoring developers, driving best practices, and delivering innovative solutions that support both operational excellence and strategic business growth.

Lead & Mentor : Head a team of 5 skilled developers, fostering a collaborative environment and identifying opportunities for their skilled growth.

Enforce Standards : Establish and lead best practices in Web and Application development, ensuring the team maintains excellent coding standards across the full development cycle.

Technical Delivery : Manage timelines from concept through to application launch,



working closely with the Applications Manager and ICT Project Manager to prioritize strategic initiatives.

Hybrid Approach : Navigate a diverse workload involving

Agile/ Waterfall and Squads

for projects

Business-As-Usual (BAU)

tasks.

Technical Quality : Ensure the reliability, performanceand security of applications while driving innovation to meet evolving business needs.

About You

10+ years' experience in web and application development.

5+ years' experience leading and mentoring development teams.

Strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including:

C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core

ASP.NET web applications

Windows Forms applications

RESTful APIs

Solid SQL Server and database development experience.

Strong understanding of application security principles, particularly within eCommerce environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Have

Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft App Center.

Experience with Next.js, Storyblok, and Vercel.

Knowledge of legacy technologies including Visual Basic 6 or Microsoft Access.

Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other business applications.
