Sushi Sushi Delacombe looking for Chefs/Cooks/Kitchen hand

We are looking for staff for our Delacombe and Wendouree shops. Positions available: Sushi Maker, Kitchen Hand, and All-rounder. Key responsibilities

Prepare fresh sushi, sashimi and Japanese food items following store recipes and standards Maintain clean and tidy work station Comply with food safety and hygiene requirements Assist with customer service during peak trading hours General kitchen duties including dish washing, basic food preparation, cleaning kitchen and service areas Stock rotation, waste disposal and maintain high hygiene standards Support sushi makers and front-of-house team during busy shifts About you

Must be available to work weekends and public holidays (roster includes Saturday / Sunday) Able to work in a fast-paced busy setting Good personal hygiene Valid Australian work rights (Visa / PR / Australian Citizenship) Reliable, punctual and a good team player Previous sushi-making experience is required (Sushi Maker role) Prior hospitality experience is not required, a willingness to learn is essential (Kitchen Hand role) Pay rate in accordance with the Fair Work award
