Third or Fourth year apprentice

that is a Motivated and Enthusiastic person About the Job: Have you ever pulled your toys apart when you were a child? Did you have a Mechano set or were you creative with lego blocks? Did you build billy-carts or extend your pushbike frame? Did you ever tinker with motorbikes, go-carts or cars? If you have answered yes to any of the above questions, then you could be the right person for us. Note - Must be an Australian citizen living in Victoria Australia; looking for a permanent role within our company. The company is accredited to AS9100D and ISO9001 In this role you will learn: Machining in the fields of turning, milling, slotting, drilling and boring Drilling, ancillary duties, grinding, pedestal grinding, some painting Assembly and fitment of industrial gearboxes How to read BOM’s and technical assembly drawings We are looking for a first year apprentice that is a Motivated and Enthusiastic person Willing to learn and work with their hands All of our staff are an integral part of the company - and are not just a number. If successful, you will also later have the opportunity to learn CNC Milling and Turning as well as other various technologies within the business such as Additive Manufacturing in Metal & Polymer. To Be Successful within this role you will have/be:



A genuine interest in an engineering/manufacturing career Excited to learn new skills and work on current abilities A willingness to learn The ability to take direction and follow instructions efficiently Good with your hands and not afraid to use them on manual and CNC machine Able to work in a fast-paced workplace Geometry and Math skills Practical application and mechanical aptitude Any Pre-apprentice ship course completions is a bonus Well presented with a good attitude Cert I Engineering (Preferable) Car & License Final pay is based on experience and skill Overtime is paid overtime Second year have the opportunity to work in our metal additive manufacturing area (after proving skills in above mentioned areas) Opportunity to grow and learn in a dynamic Australian advanced manufacturing company, with a large range of equipment and technologies you will not have access to any where else. Complete with fully versatile CNC machine shop with fabrication capabilties, Additive Manufacturing and Industrial Gearboxes under one roof. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands on Apprentice, first or second year Fitter and Turner. The workshop consists of 5-axis simultaneous CNC, various manual mills, lathes, vertical borers and fabrication. Our focused industries are diverse and include Aerospace, Space, Defence, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Transmission, Medical, Food and Beverage.
