Procurement Assistant
to join our Procurement team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes staying on top of details, and wants to build a career in procurement and supply chain. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping our purchasing running smoothly - from raising orders to chasing up suppliers and keeping customers informed on backorders. We are open to concluding University applicants who may wish to kick-start their career before graduating (i.e. beginning with a part time schedule before moving into Full-Time position at conclusion of studies). What You'll Be Doing
Raising routine Purchase Orders with approved suppliers Following up on supplier ETAs, shortages and outstanding orders Managing the day-to-day customer backorder process Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier records Handling purchasing admin, including the purchasing inbox and credit card purchases Assisting with stock adjustments and new product/item setup Providing purchasing coverage and support to the wider team What We're Looking For
