- Operatebrickcuttingequipmentsafelyandeffectively
- Inspectcompletedworktoensurequalityandaccuracy
- Followconstructionspecificationsandestablishedbuildingpractices
- Maintainsafeworkingpracticesacrossresidentialandcommercialsites
- Usehandtools,powertoolsandbricklayingequipmentappropriately
- Coordinatewithsupervisorsandotherconstructiontrades
- Maintainacleanandorganisedworkarea
- Completeassignedworkefficientlywhilemeetingprojectdeadlines
Requirements & Eligibility
- RecognisedtradequalificationinBricklaying,minimumCertificateIIIorequivalent
- ProvenexperienceworkingprofessionallyasaBricklayer
- Strongpracticalunderstandingofbricklayingtechniquesandconstructionprocesses
- Abilitytoconfidentlyreadandinterpretbuildingplans
- Demonstratedabilitytoproduceaccurateandhigh-qualitybrickwork
- Competenceusinglevels,measuringequipmentandbrickcuttingmachinery
- Understandingofworkplacehealthandsafetyrequirements
- Reliableandprofessionalapproachtoemployment
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandeffectivelywithinaconstructionteam
- Physicallycapableofperformingtherequirementsofabricklayingrole
- Applicantsmustbeabletoprovideevidenceoftheirqualificationsandrelevantworkexperience
