The Medical Lead – Rights of the Terminally Ill supports the implementation of Rights of the Terminally Ill legislation across the NT. The Medical Lead is both a senior clinical leadership and policy role within the Rights of the Terminally Ill Implementation Program. The role is responsible for a legislatively compliant model of care that delivers a high-quality service, including clinical pathways, clinical governance,
and workforce capability. As a key member of the Implementation Team, the Medical Lead also works closely with the Implementation Lead and the Care Navigator Lead to integrate clinical excellence across medical and non-medical components of ROTI to develop and deliver a safe, effective, culturally protected, accessible and person-centred end-of-life choice for eligible Territorians. This is a part time vacancy available for 0.5 (19 hrs) per week.
