Solar apprentices pay based on experience. Ideally 2nd year onwards however if 1st year needs some experience.

Full-time, ongoing position

What You'll Do

Your role will primarily involve

residential solar and electrical work , including: Solar PV installations

Solar system commissioning and testing





Residential battery installations

Hybrid inverter installations

Solar inverter replacements and upgrades

Solar fault finding and diagnostics

Solar maintenance and repairs

Switchboard upgrades and modifications

Electrical inspections and testing

Customer handovers and system education

Providing customers with professional advice and solutions

Completing jobs to a high standard and in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant regulations

You'll be dealing directly with residential customers, so

positive communication and a professional attitude are important . What You'll Need

Battery installation experience highly preferred

Valid Australian driver's licence

Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work well as part of a team

Professional presentation and customer service skills

Reliable and punctual attitude

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience with Sungrow, GoodWe, Sigenergy

Hybrid inverter experience

Previous battery installation experience

Experience with switchboard upgrades

Working-at-heights experience

Experience diagnosing existing/problematic solar systems
