We are looking for a
Casual Kitchen Assistant
to join our kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and enjoys being part of a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but we are also happy to consider someone with the right attitude who is willing to learn.
The Role Working alongside our chefs and kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with basic food preparation
Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
Receiving and putting away deliveriesAssisting with stock rotation and storage
Keeping preparation and service areas clean and hygienic
Supporting the chefs with general kitchen duties during busy services
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
What We're Looking For
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
Good communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and take direction
Availability across a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends
Full Australian working rights
Previous experience as a kitchen hand, kitchen assistant or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but
not essential .
