Junior or Entry-Level Medical Receptionist

to join our casual reception pool and support our team across Woonona, Dapto, Warilla and Engadine.

As an independently owned radiology practice, we take pride in providing a welcoming experience for our patients and a supportive working environment for our team.

Whether you are starting your career or looking to move into healthcare from retail, hospitality or another customer service role, this is an opportunity to build valuable skills in medical administration.

Previous medical reception experience is not essential - we provide full training.

What You Will Be Doing Our reception team plays an important role in helping patients feel comfortable and keeping our clinics running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming patients:

Greeting patients, checking them in and ensuring their details are accurate.

Managing enquiries and appointments:

Answering calls, responding to emails and coordinating bookings.

Supporting clinic operations:

Working closely with radiographers, sonographers and other team members to coordinate patient appointments and assist with day-to-day administration.

Assisting with billing:

Learning to process payments and assist with Medicare and other billing requirements.

What We Are Looking For You do not need to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone with a

positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in helping people .

You will be friendly and approachable, communicate clearly, and bring reliability, attention to detail and a calm approach to a busy reception environment. You should be comfortable using computers, learning new systems and working as part of a team.

Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or administration will be highly regarded, but

medical reception experience is not required .

As this is a casual pool position, please clearly outline your availability and which clinic locations you can work at.
