We’re looking for an experienced
Electrical Project Supervisor
to help deliver projects across the western corridor. Your immediate focus will include the new Administration and General Learning Area buildings at Ipswich Special School.
Why This Role Matters This is not a supervisory role from the sidelines—you’ll be actively involved in delivering the work.

The Role This is a hand-on, predominantly site-based position combining electrical installation, site supervision and project coordination.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing electrical installation work alongside the site team
Supervising electricians, apprentices and subcontractors
Planning daily and upcoming works
Coordinating labour, materials and equipment
Working closely with builders and other trades
Reviewing drawings and construction requirements
Monitoring progress against the project program
Identifying and resolving site issues
Maintaining quality, safety and project documentation
Communicating variations and progress to the Brisbane project team
Supporting testing, commissioning, defects and handover
What We’re Looking For You’re an experienced electrician who can lead a team, plan ahead and take responsibility for getting the job done.
Essential:
Current Queensland electrical work licence
Commercial electrical construction experience
Previous experience supervising or coordinating site works
Ability and willingness to remain hand-on and work on the tools
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Solid communication, planning and problem-solving skills
Current driver’s licence and Construction White Card
Highly Regarded:
Experience delivering education or government projects
Experience across electrical and communications packages
Familiarity with Simpro or similar systems
Experience with testing, commissioning and project handover
