We’re looking for a Pastry Chef to join our Mörk Bakery team in North Melbourne.

We’re a small team making the pastry range for Mörk venues across Melbourne - from croissants and our sourdough cinnamon buns to cakes, cookies and seasonal products. There’s plenty of variety, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys being hands‑on and getting involved across the bakery.

What you’ll be doing

Working across our day-to-day pastry and bakery production

Making, baking and finishing a varied range of products

Working with doughs, pastries, cakes and other bakery products

Working alongside our Head Pastry Chef and the rest of the bakery team

Getting involved across different areas of production as needed

We’d love to meet someone who

Has previous pastry experience, ideally in a bakery, patisserie or production kitchen

Is confident across a good range of pastry work





Has some experience with doughs or viennoiserie, or is keen to develop further in this area

Enjoys working as part of a small, hands‑on team

Takes pride in what they make and has a good eye for quality and consistency

Is keen to learn, contribute and keep developing their skills

Experience with laminated doughs and using a sheeter would be excellent, but you don’t need to be a viennoiserie specialist.

This is a full-time role working Wednesday to Sunday, with early starts from 4:30am.
